Madison Lawrence is an illustrator and concept artist who is passionate about traditional fantasy with a heavy touch of dark motifs. She specializes in character and creature design and is always looking for ways to add a flair of whimsical horror to her work. Madison studied illustration with a specialization in concept art at the Rocky Mountain College of Art + Design (RMCAD) in Denver, Colorado and graduated in 2020.
Responsible for creating unique 2D animated style, from the style of the characters to the genre of the universe.
Responsible for designing 2D models fitting stylized aesthetic and technical criteria using Adobe Photoshop and Clip Studio Paint.
Working closely with leads to implement desired artistic style and produce concepts of several characters, including final rendered characters.
Facilitated any requests for the change in the design of the characters to make them overall more appealing.
Creating detailed model sheets for reference for animators (including turnarounds and other reference sheets)
Responsible for leading the team artistically, adhering to each artists' strengths and guiding artists to finalized pieces
Communicated with clients to brand a limited edition product, including box design, sticker labels, and logo icons.
Worked closely with the clients, creating deliverables such as thumbnails, 3D mock ups, and final illustrated designs.
